PnC Memo^TM , an editor for low vision

PnC Memo is software that provides people with low vision an easy-to-use basic word processor for writing letters, memos, and other documents. Document preparation can be done with enlarged characters and spoken letters or words. The formatted document can then be printed.

The letter below shows some of the formatting features of PnC Memo. Each letter and word is spoken when typed.

PnC Memo has a built-in spelling checker using "Pick and Click" menus. Pressing a function key displays screens that find the mis-spellings and allow making the correction in the following ways:

Automatically changing the misspelled word to the first suggestion from the spell checker (shown in the left screen below).
Selecting from the list of additional suggested words from the spell checker (shown in the right screen below).
Typing in the correction.

PnC Memo's Spell Checking screens are shown below for an example in which "dimenistration" was the misspelled word. The spell checker first suggested "administration" but the user selected "demonstration" from the list of alternative corrections.
